I AM...
I was exploring a new productive way in how to make economical films using simple techniques. I worked in a series of videos, very personal ideas, where I tried to work only with myself and the camera. The idea was to explore storytelling and narrative with minimal elements and the use of myself as an object and subject. I presented the videos as a multi screen installation. The videos consist of a series of monologues and performances.
As a formal filmmaker my relationship with the camera has been always stepping behind it, capturing, dealing and describing with what is in front of the lens. I decided to rotate the camera 180 degrees and explore the possibilities of myself as an imagen and as a character.
