As an artist I find myself mostly returning to film/video as my preferred media, a space that allows me to give form to my interpretations. In my work I prefer to use storytelling to reflect on social and cultural topics.

 

Diego Ospina Melo is a visual artist from Colombia, born in 1984. He is based in Amsterdam since 2012, where he graduated from DOGtime "Unstable Media department" at the Rietveld Academy in 2020. This programme enabled Diego to further develop his visual style and interactions between video installation, video art, performance and cinematography.
